Crayon Art

Melt crayons to make art! You can create all kinds of interesting scenes and pictures with the help of some heat and crayon shavings.

Arrange your shavings on paper to create objects, place the shavings on some play dough that you have cutout or shaped, sprinkle them on wax paper or cardboard.

Find something to put crayon shavings on and....

HAVE FUN!

We tried both using the iron with wax paper over our shavings, and placing in the oven (for a minute or two). If you are placing this on play dough you would probably need to use oven.

Place the shavings between two pieces of wax paper and add some paper, leaves or flowers.
