"Newton And Me"
We came across this book at a "Little Library" on our walk this morning. I love these little libraries, and need to figure out how to make one this summer.
Anyways, once we dove into this book, we realized it was an educational book!
This stuff is defiantly not in my interests, and I know really nothing about it. So we read it over and over and then played with some stuff to learn more about it. ?Maybe it will become interesting to him. Either way, it introduces the concept and will be in the back of his mind when he learns more about it later in life.
Yo-Yo (1st law) the yo-yo will move downward until friction (tugging) pulls it back up. (3rd law) the tension in the string at the yo-yo is equal and opposite to the tension in the string by your hand.
Gravity the force of gravity acts between all objects in the universe. Any two objects that have a finite mass exert an attractive force on each other. (huh?)
Force Something wont move unless a force makes it move.
