Hawk Eyes
We found this beautiful creature on our walk yesterday. It always helps when there are others, with their binoculars and cameras, staring at something.
So you know to look!
"Birds Of Prey"
There are 270 species of Hawks.
They can see 8 x better than us human beings. They can fly at 150 mph to catch their prey.
Like ducks, hawk will mate for a lifetime. If the mate dies, however, they will find a new one.
They can live up to 20 years in the wild.
Hawks are in the same family as the eagle. They build large nests in trees, and sometimes on the ground or cliffs.
You can catch them fighting while in flight, in the air.
Keep your eyes out for this beautiful bird. Legend has it that the sight of a hawk means you are being sent a message to spread your wings and fly to a higher greatness. Let go of your fears and take on a new and great opportunity.
